FretCandy –> Music + code, let’s go! 🎸🚀

Current Project: FretTime

FretTime is a productivity app that helps string players structure their practice sessions with task cards and built-in timers. Instead of scattered practice notes, you get a system designed around how musicians actually work – so, you can chunk your techniques and tunes into focused daily tasks while tracking your progress.

Right now, I’m in Phase 2, and I’m adding a global count-down timer, an analytics dashboard, drag & drop functionality, and some other good stuff.

    Why FretTime?

Whether you’re preparing for a performance or developing your technical skills, FretTime helps you practice more intentionally and less chaotically. Some key ways to take advantage of FretTime’s features include:

    • Create individual task cards to break your primary projects and practice areas into manageable chunks → Skip the overwhelming practice lists, and organize your work into focused sessions that build momentum
    • Track time spent on each technique and song with built-in timers → Monitor your practice habits and ensure you’re giving adequate attention to every aspect of your development
    • Organize practice and project areas with color-coded categories → Separate daily technique work from song preparation, repertoire building, and creative projects without losing focus
    • Access your practice plan anywhere with mobile-responsive design → Whether you’re in the practice room, on stage, or traveling, your organized practice session is always available
